China Fines Sohu For Posting US Movies Online

In another victory against media piracy, the Chinese courts fined search engine and portal Sohu for allowing the distribution of American films online.
US movies do not all open in China and many of the titles mentioned in the Adotas article were of films not yet released in China.

Sohu was fined nearly $139,000.
