Yahoo Japan To Buy Japan Net Bank To Better Enable Online Commerce

Yahoo Japan reportedly is going to close a deal with Japan Net Bank, owned by Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, as early as the end of this week. Yahoo Japan is looking to buy a 57 percent stake in Japan Net Bank. The rational is to increase its ability to better offer payment services for its online auctions and shopping services.
