Google's Blogger Running Ads on MySpace.com

Over on MarketerToday.com, Garrett French notes that he has seen (screen caps included) ads promoting Blogger (from Google) on the popular social-networking site, MySpace.com. French offers his thoughts and analysis including the following passage:

Third, what the heck is Blogger, a free service, doing advertising on MySpace? The demographic makes sense - young, web-active users, but MySpace comes with a built in audience: your friends. Blogger's cold in that regard, has no social element to it really, besides the "Next Blog" button.
