Gataga For Meta Searching Bookmark & Tagging Services
Gataga is a new service that lets you search against bookmark at del.icio.us, blogmarks, blinklist, jots, spurl, furl, simpy and connotea. You can apparently keyword search against bookmark comments sent in feeds or by how those bookmarks were tagged. Like the idea? You might also try the Yahoo Directory, the Open Directory or even Zeal, which are similar ages old collections of bookmarks tagged into categories. You could also try Hotlinks, which was all the rage in 1999 as a community bookmarking and search service. Oops, it died, as did the idea of P2P search. Well, Backflip from back then is still going. And maybe 2005 won't be like 1999.
