Yahoo Adds Search Assist to Image Search
Yahoo has added Search Assist to their image search. If you're not aware, Search Assist is Yahoo's technology that brings up search suggestions when you start typing in your search.

But Yahoo has added a second tier to Search Assist for Image Search. On a results page, if you click in the search box, you'll get the search suggestions plus image suggestions.

That technology is still not here in CA. I'd like to try this out. At least Yahoo is doing something that Google hasn't done.

I am not sure if it is just me or not, but I find the search assist tool annoying (for search and images). I always shut it off. Most of the time, I can type in what I am looking for faster then I can start typing, look at the search assist results and choose the correct one.
The most annoying this is, even though I shut it off, it still pops on sometimes.
