Yahoo! Gets Fat
It's now clear why Robert Greenblatt, president of entertainment at Showtime, told reporters three weeks ago that something "big" was in the works with Yahoo!.
Yahoo! and Showtime Networks have just announced a deal to stream (at the same time it airs on Showtime) the first episode of the new Kirstie Alley series, "Fat Actress" on March 7. The program will be available free and will remain online until March 12. Yahoo! will also promote the series with video clips, photos, etc.
