Free, Legal Live Music
The Live Music Archive is a searchable repository of nearly 19,000 concert recordings that are freely available for download, avoiding the potential problems and headaches you're susceptible to using services like Kazaa and Morpheus. Today's SearchDay article, Searching for Live Music takes a quick look at this valuable (and growing) collection of free music, as well as some of the other types of audio available from the Internet Archive, such as presidential recordings and conference proceedings.
